This is such a great idea! Of course maybe not for homes with children! I was looking around my home, and really I don't even know what I could use if the zombie calamity should start.
I have a four poster bed, and at least one of the post comes off, but there would be a couple of problems associated with it.
First of all it's extremely heavy, and I really don't have a great deal of upper body strength, so after a couple swings I would have to ask for a time out.
Second, it takes quite some time to unscrew, and I don't think I can hold my finger up, and ask the zombie to wait a seconds before I can finally get it off.
I might need something sharp for poking, I saw this picture of a sharpened stick that would work.
